A Few Of Our Photo Favorites

As the official host site of the Southern California Colavita Regional Team, we have lots of opportunities to take photos — photos of cyclists and their bikes, photos of triathletes, photos of events, photos of beautiful landscapes, photos of places where we like to hang out, photos of stuff we use, etc.  Here are a few of our more recent favorites.  Enjoy!

The SoCal Colavita Crew at our new “home’ shop – JRA Bikes & Brew in Agoura Hills!  Vince and his staff made us feel right at home, too.

There’s something about Snow Canyon just outside of St. George, Utah, that is magical.  The rock formations, the desert colors, the warm sunshine, and the clean air combine to make a fantastic place to ride and enjoy the views.

One of our team members, Yvette Irons McGue, is also a member of the Wattie Ink Elite Team.  She will be competing at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada, in September.  This is what most of her competitors see — her backside.

Here’s Yvette Irons McGue checking out the water prior to her winning performance at the 2013 Desert Triathlon in La Qunita, California on March 3.

Only the desert could provide a sunrise vista like this.

It’s not all intense and serious when we’re riding.  Most of the time, there’s an ample amount of jokes and goofing around sprinkled throughout the pain and suffering.  It makes the workouts much more enjoyable.

Yes, we are mountain bikers, too.  In fact, most of our team does both road biking and mountain biking.  And, every so often, we do a race just for fun.  This action shot is from the closing moments of the 2012 Dawn To Dusk Mountain Bike Endurance Race held at McDowell Mountain Park outside of Fountain Hills, Arizona.

If facial expressions were money, this photo would be worth $1 Million (at least).  We’re not sure what they were looking at, but SoCal Colavita Team Members Matt, Gary, Jon, and James (from left to right) definitely had differing opinions of whatever it was.
